We have listed our best tips for a colourful border:

  • Use different colours but don’t put clashing colours side by side. For example, consider the beautiful pastel colour palette of Campanula Ambella®. White-flowering or grey-leaved plants in your border will create beautiful transitions and have a playful effect.
  • To ensure that your border looks attractive year-round, with different plants that bloom in every season, it is crucial that you take the flowering time of plants into consideration. The flowering months are indicated on plant labels.
  • Make sure there is variety in flower shapes, growth heights and leaf shapes. This includes structure plants, evergreens or tall grasses. You will need some eye catchers too: flowering plants in beautiful colours.

Campanula Addenda® flowers year-round, several times a year, from early spring onwards. Hebe Addenda® flowers from July until well into autumn. Since both plants are evergreen, Hebe and Campanula are perfect for use in a border. Hebe and Campanula can easily be combined with other flowering perennials, and with seasonal annuals.
